Boston Ballet Tickets

Returning to London for the first time in 30 years, Boston Ballet presents two dynamic programmes reflecting a century of groundbreaking choreography. 

Program 1 - Highlights the company’s diverse range and command of Balanchine choreography.  Featuring Vaslav Nijinsky’s Afternoon of a Faun, George Balanchine’s Serenade and Symphony in Three Movements, and resident choreographer Jorma Elo’s Plan to B which premiered with the company in 2004, the choreography in this program is rich with innovation. Boston Ballet Music Director and Principal Conductor Jonathan McPhee will lead the Royal Philharmonic.

3, 4, 6 July at 7.30pm, 7 July at 2,30pm  

Program 2 -  Programme 2 features three extraordinary and visionary works, Christopher Wheeldon’s physically complex Polyphonia where the dancers showcase their playful athleticism with stripped down ballet in its purest form, Jirí Kylián’s emotional and beautiful masterpiece Bella Figura. Finally, William Forsythe’s The Second Detail, set to a robust score by Thom Willems, a potent piece of kinetic energy that never fails to leave a lasting impression.
